A Passionate Canine Trainer
Cherry is a dedicated and passionate dog trainer at MNA Dog Training, with a commitment to enhancing the lives of dogs and their families. She graduated from the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in Ohio, USA, where she earned her professional dog training certification. Following this, she completed the "Essentials of Dog Training" course, further advancing her skills and becoming one of our esteemed trainers in Hong Kong.
With a background as a veterinary assistant, Cherry has extensive experience working with a variety of dog breeds, having handled over 800 dogs throughout her career. She has also served as a caregiver and trainer at a prominent dog training school. Since joining the MNA volunteer team in 2019, she has dedicated her time to improving dog welfare, and she has volunteered as a dog handler for organizations like HKDR and SKSF for several years.
Cherry's journey into the world of dog training has been driven by her lifelong love for animals, especially dogs. It took her nine years of hard work and dedication to officially enter this field. During this time, she actively sought out knowledge and experience, including working as a veterinary assistant to gain practical skills and medical knowledge. Even after facing challenges, such as being bitten while volunteering at a shelter, her passion for dog training only grew stronger.
In 2022, Cherry completed the "Essentials of Dog Training" course under the mentorship of our founder, Adrienne Lee, officially becoming a trainer. She further enhanced her qualifications in 2023 by obtaining a pet first aid certificate. Cherry specializes in obedience training, puppy training, and behavior correction.
Her ultimate goal is to become an exceptional dog trainer who helps families foster harmonious relationships with their dogs, reducing the incidence of abandonment while facilitating the adaptation of shelter dogs to human life, thereby increasing their chances of being adopted.
